The 2015 Thoroughbred Alliance Show Series schedule was officially announced today. The Series will include thoroughbred shows throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Kentucky. The shows target off track thoroughbreds searching for new careers after racing. A portion of proceeds from each TASS show goes to thoroughbred only rescue and retraining 501c 3 charities.
Classes include Hunter, Jumper, Dressage and a few shows include western, hunt teams and pairs classes. In addition, there are Green classes for those thoroughbreds at the early stages of training. There is no cost to join TASS and members submit their horse’s Jockey Club T.I. P. cards and complete an online nomination form for their horses and for riders to be eligible for year end points. Some of the shows also offer classes for horses that are part or non thoroughbreds. TASS points are tallied through the end of the Season. Awards are presented for the high point winners at the end of the show season.

The Thoroughbred Alliance Show Series (TASS) was established in 2012 to promote
thoroughbreds in second careers through a series of horse shows in the Mid Atlantic region
and Kentucky. Horses and riders accumulate points throughout the season, with an awards
banquet held at the end of the year. A portion of the proceeds from each show is donated to
501c3 Thoroughbred rescue and aftercare organizations. For more information about

2014 Banquet recap--The Carriage Room was packed once again, the food was excellent, and everyone had a great time with the awards presentation, the Chinese auction, and the Day at the Races. Thanks to everyone- our sponsors, volunteers, exhibitors, family, and friends who made the year a success. We raised over $40,000 for Thoroughbred Aftercare since we started the series in 2013. Here's to a great 2015, with a new expanded schedule of exhibitor friendly, TB lovin' horse shows!
